My Oscar Fashion Favourites!

So the Academy Awards were on last night and although I'm super happy that Jennifer Lawrence got best actress and Daniel Day Lewis got best actor, all I was mostly interested in was what people decided to wear for the biggest night of the year!

I'm not going to include the bad outfits as this post would be so long but here are my favourites and the ones that really stood out for me.

Now for the other things I spotted:

This is such a cute picture of Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Her bump is perfect. He looks very dapper, but the thing I love is Jenna's loose pinned up waves this trend was fluent throughout the red carpet.

I love Charlize Theron's short blonde hair, I know she shaved it off for the remake of Mad Max but this cute cut suits her so well.

I wasn't too impressed with Jessica Chastain's dress but I love her red hair. The vintage waves were gorgeous and really suit her. Without them I wouldn't have remembered her on the carpet.

I wasn't too fussed about Reece Witherspoon's dress last night but I loved her Blonde waves pinned to one side, very Hollywood!

My Birthday Spends!

So if you read my last post you will know I got some money off family and some vouchers from my dad and his wife. The day after my birthday which was Sunday me and my mum went to the local shopping outlet to get some to treats!

I got 3 plastic baskets for £2 in Tesco to put eyeshadows/eyelashes and palettes in.

I got a toothbrush holder to store my brushes from Tesco

I also bought a black long dress from Topshop but I forgot to take a picture.

That night me and mum went to a pub with my auntie, cousin and her boyfriend for a meal. It was really nice and chilled out. I used my new big palette pictured in my post before to create a brown/gold/turquoise look. I really liked the way it came out and here are a few pictures. Sorry for face spam haha!

My Birthday Weekend

I'm officially 20! Holy Moly! How time flies. 

Over the weekend I spent my birthday with some of my family at Chester Zoo and a pub meal. It was a busy but chilled out weekend and I had a lot of fun. Thank you to all the lovely messages people wrote on Facebook and to all the people who got me cards :) As a lot of people at this time we don't have much money, so I'm really grateful for the presents I got and luckily I love them all.

So anyway onto the pictures, they are all taken by me on my Blackberry phone so sorry for bad quality. The Chester Zoo pictures were taken by my sister who has a proper digital camera and who normally takes all the pictures of my makeup for my blog :) You can look at her blog here!

I went on my laptop in the morning and because most things I have are linked with Google I had a lovely little birthday picture and message :)

My auntie with the help of my uncle made me a Tiffany Box cake with bow and pearls. It was amazing and so tasty considering this is only the second cake she has ever made in her life.

They also got me a pearl necklace which I love.

My mum got me a tshirt and heart cage necklace from Next.

My mum also got me Lady Gaga's perfume Fame.

I love the alien style bottle and the black fluid.

My sister got me brushes from Fraulein, they came in this roll up leopard print case.

I love this makeup palette I got.

My Dad and Julie got me Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur perfume.

I love the stiletto bottle it comes in.

They also got me a One Direction Photo in a frame.
